#ThrowbackThursday The Kiwanis Club of Meriden - Record Journal City-Wide Spelling Bee returned this past April for 5th & 6th grade students in Meriden! Each elementary and middle school had one student finalist who participated. This year's winner was Luke Pandiani from Edison Middle School and the runner-up was Odira Osita-Osadebe from Pulaski Elementary School. Congratulations to all of this year's finalists and alternates!
As college students are getting ready to go #backtoschool, we'd like to congratulate the following Meriden residents who received an #EducationAward from the Kiwanis Club of Meriden: Martin Amoamah, Xarianna Perez, Samuel Hurlbur, Jordan Rosario, & Shannon Turner!
Club members recognized these graduating seniors at a dinner in June and a car parade for students unable to attend the banquet. Congratulations and best of luck in college!
