Kiwanis Challenger Bowling League

From 1995-2022, the Civitan Club of Meriden-Wallingford sponsored and managed the Challenger Bowling League, a fun and non-competitive league for people with special needs. When the Civitan Club disbanded in 2022, the Kiwanis Club of Meriden stepped up as the new sponsor and coordinator of the League. We are excited for the second season of Kiwanis Challenger Bowling League in 2024!

2024 Season At-A-Glance
Location: Bowlero/Wallingford Bowl, 980 North Colony Road, Wallingford, CT 06492
Friday bowling: January 5-April 12, 4:30pm-6:15pm (14 weeks)
Sunday bowling: January 7-April 4, 11:30am-1:30pm (14 weeks)
Cost: $10/player per session.

Briana Gardner, horticulturist and house plant expert at The Lil' Plant Shop, will speak about hydroponic gardening and Library staff will talk about their plans for the garden. 🌱🌿 🪴 The meeting and unveiling are free and open to the public!

Kiwanis Club of Meriden is thrilled to announce our donation of a Lettuce Grow hydroponic garden to the Meriden Public Library! This new garden will introduce library patrons of all ages to the magic of hydroponic gardening and cultivating vegetables, herbs, flowers, and more indoors.

Join us for our unveiling and ribbon cutting this Thursday, April 11 at 6:30pm in Room 6 at the Library! Briana Gardner, horticulturist and house plant expert at The Lil' Plant Shop, will join us to talk about hydroponic gardening.
