This Super Bowl season, the Kiwanis Club of Meriden and our family of school-based Service Leadership Programs are proud to announce the 10th annual Souper Bowl Citywide Food Drive for the Meriden Soup Kitchen this February!

For more than 40 years, the Meriden Soup Kitchen has provided nutritious meals to those in need. Today, the Soup Kitchen’s volunteers serve nearly 40,000 meals annually. They need our support and the Meriden Kiwanis Family is stepping up to coordinate a city-wide food drive.

HOW TO DONATE!

• *NEW TIME/LOCATION* Donate Nonperishable Food Items: Drop off donations on Saturday, February 7 from 12:00pm-3:00pm at the Meriden Soup Kitchen, 460 Broad Street, Meriden (lower level of the First Baptist Church Hall—enter in back).
  • NOTE: Due to the forecast for February 7, we will not be collecting food outside Stop & Shop as planned. We will reschedule this part of our food drive for another date.

Since 2017, Kiwanis has collected and donated 59,560 food items and $7,766 to the Meriden Soup Kitchen through the Souper Bowl.
